To trust means to rely on, to have confidence in a person or object. You must have confidence in God with all your heart. James 1:8 tells us that there are some people who are “double-minded,” who are “unstable” in their faith. One moment their faith is high and in the next moment they are overwhelmed with doubts. God does not want us to be unsettled by circumstances but to have absolute faith in Him.
When the circumstances of life seem to be overwhelming, choose to trust that God is ordering your steps. Find security in Him knowing that He’s making your crooked places straight and leading you into the life He has prepared for you!
Trusting God even in difficult times will bring you peace and prosperity. When doubts and fears surround you, just keep your mind on His faithfulness and lean on Him to hold and carry you.
Spend some time today keeping God’s word in your heart and mind. And as you put His principles to work and see the tremendous results, your confidence in God will grow strong, and you will trust him with all your heart and mind more and more.
