YADAH:
Expression of open hands, showing gratitude to God in all situations. In praise, God will also open His hands towards you.
TOWDAH:
Expression of Adoration, declaring that God is true to His promises and will accomplish them.
SHABACH:
Expression of your confidence in God’s ability, declaring your testimony and showing gratitude for your victory.
BARAUCH:
Expression of Humility, showing of love, trust and total submission to the father in heaven.
ZAMAR:
Expression of celebration with musical instruments including clapping.
TEHILLAH:
Expression of extravagance before God. You openly show an overflowing gratitude.
HALLEL:
Expression of absolute Jubilation, comprising all the above forms of praise. It involves dancing so much before God that it may appear like foolishness before others. Hallel is expressing total gratitude to God for His salvation, protection and all His precious promises.
Praise is an attitude of the heart. A grateful heart is praiseful heart. Is there anything in your life for which you are grateful for? Why don’t you make some joyful noise to the Lord? “The joy of the Lord is our strength.”
