Hebrews 1:4
Jesus obtained our eternal redemption.
Jesus carried his own blood into God’s presence and presented it as the price for our redemption forever. Hebrews 9:11-12 says, “But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.”
Jesus was appointed as the heir of everything.
Christ is seated at the right hand of the Majesty. He reigns and rules forever.
Jesus became a mediator of a better covenant.
The sacrifice of Christ reconciled us to God in a New Covenant with better promises.
Jesus obtained a more excellent name.
Philippians 2:9 says, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.” The name of Jesus is lifted high above all other names.
Jesus obtained a more excellent ministry.
Hebrews 8:6 says, “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.” Jesus lives forever to mediate between man and God.
