Meaning

Ebed (a servant). (Many MSS. have EBER.)

1. Father of Gaal, who with his brethren assisted the men of Shechem in their revolt against Abimelech. (Jude 9:26; Jude 9:28; Jude 9:30; Jude 9:31; Jude 9:35) (B.C. 1206).
