Manger <1,,5336, phatne>

"a manger," Luk 2:7, Luk 2:12, Luk 2:16, also denotes "a stall," Luk 13:15. So in the Sept., the word denoted not only a "manger" but, by metonymy, the stall or crib (Pro 14:4) containing the "manger."
