from semeion, "a sign, token," signifies "to mark, to note," in the Middle Voice, "to note for oneself," and is so used in 2Th 3:14, in an injunction to take cautionary note of one who refuses obedience to the Apostle's word by the Epistle. In the Sept. Psa 5:6.
