"a yoke" (akin to zeugnumi, "to yoke"), is used (a) of beasts, Luk 14:19; (b) of a pair of anything; in Luk 2:24, of turtledoves. See YOKE.

Note: In Rev 6:5, AV, zugos, a yoke (akin to zeugos), is translated "a pair of balances" (RV, "a balance"). See BALANCE, YOKE.
