denotes "a valuing," hence, objectively, (a) "price paid or received," Mat 27:6, Mat 27:9, Act 4:34 (plural); Act 1:5-3, Act 7:16, RV, "price (in silver)," AV, "sum (of money);" Act 19:19 (plural); 1Co 6:20, 1Co 7:23; (b) "value, honor, preciousness." See HONOR, PRECIOUSNESS.

"to fix the value, to price," is translated "was priced" and "did price" in the RV of Mat 27:9 (AV, "was valued" and "did value"). See HONOR.
