is translated "proceed" in Mat 15:19, AV (RV, "come forth"); Joh 8:42, RV, "came forth;" Jam 3:10. The verb "to proceed" is not so suitable. See COME, No. 3.

lit., "to cut forward (a way)," is translated "will proceed" in 2Ti 2:16, RV (AV, "will increase") and "shall proceed" (both versions) in 2Ti 3:9. See INCREASE.
