"certain, secure, safe" (from a, negative, and sphallo, "to trip up"), is translated "safe" in Phi 3:1. See CERTAIN, B.

"certainty, safety" (akin to A), is translated "safety" in Act 5:23, 1Th 5:3. See CERTAIN, A.

"salvation," is translated "safety" in Act 27:34, RV (AV, "health"). See HEALTH, Note.
