"to shine, glisten," is used in Mar 9:3 of the garments of Christ at His transfiguration, RV, "glistering," AV, "shining." Cp. exastrapto, "dazzling," in Luk 9:29, RV. "to shine forth" (ek, "out" and No. 3), is used in Mat 13:43, of the future shining "forth" of the righteous "in the Kingdom of their Father."
