"indolent, sluggish," is rendered "slothful" in Heb 6:12, AV, See DULL, and synonymous words there, and SLUGGISH.

"shrinking, irksome," is translated "slothful" in Mat 25:26, and Rom 12:11, where "in diligence not slothful," RV, might be rendered "not flagging in zeal." See GRIEVOUS, Note (2).
