"to go forward," is used metaphorically of age, in Luk 1:7, Luk 1:18, with the phrases "in their (her) days," translated "well stricken in years" (see marg.); in Luk 2:36, "of a great age" (marg., "advanced in many days"). See GO, No. 20.
