"at all times, always" (akin to pas, "all"), is translated "ever" in Luk 15:31, Joh 18:20, 1Th 4:17, 1Th 5:15, 2Ti 3:7, Heb 7:25; "evermore" in Joh 6:34; in 1Th 5:16, RV, "alway," for AV, "evermore." It there means "on all occasions," as, e.g., 1Th 1:2, 1Th 3:6, 1Th 5:15, 2Th 1:3, 2Th 1:11, 2Th 2:13. See ALWAYS.
