Fighting

"a fight, strife" (akin to B, No. 3, under FIGHT), is always used in the plural in the NT, and translated "fightings" in 2Co 7:5, Jam 4:1, Tit 3:9, RV (for AV, "strivings"); "strifes in 2Ti 2:23. See STRIFE.
