Vine's Expository Dictionary: View Entry
ἀγανακτέω aganaktéō, ag-an-ak-teh'-o; from ἄγαν ágan (much) and ἄχθος áchthos (grief; akin to the base of G43); to be greatly afflicted, i.e. (figuratively) indignant:—be much (sore) displeased, have (be moved with, with) indignation.
The KJV translates Strong's G23 in the following manner: have indignation (2x), be much displeased (2x), with indignation (2x), be sore displeased (1x).
