κατηχέω katēchéō, kat-ay-kheh'-o; from G2596 and G2279; to sound down into the ears, i.e. (by implication) to indoctrinate ("catechize") or (genitive case) to apprise of:—inform, instruct, teach.
The KJV translates Strong's G2727 in the following manner: instruct (3x), teach (3x), inform (2x).
