εὐδοκέω eudokéō, yoo-dok-eh'-o; from G2095 and G1380; to think well of, i.e. approve (an act); specially, to approbate (a person or thing):—think good, (be well) please(-d), be the good (have, take) pleasure, be willing.
The KJV translates Strong's G2106 in the following manner: be well pleased (7x), please (5x), have pleasure (4x), be willing (2x), be (one's) good pleasure (1x), take pleasure (1x), think good (1x).
it seems good to one, is one's good pleasure
think it good, choose, determine, decide
to do willingly
to be ready to, to prefer, choose rather
to be well pleased with, take pleasure in, to be favourably inclined towards one
1. as in secular authors, followed by an infinitive, it seems good to one, is one's good pleasure; to think it good, choose, determine, decide:
2. by a usage peculiar to Biblical writers, followed by ἐν τίνι, to be well pleased with, take pleasure in, a person or thing (cf. Winers Grammar, 38, 232 (218); Buttmann, 185 (160)):
